Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept many types of insurances. Since insurance companies are constantly making changes, we encourage our patients to call the number on their card and verify that we are in network so there are no surprises once we start your treatment.

Do I need to see a Physician prior to starting my Physical Therapy?

The majority of time you do not need to see your physician! In South Dakota we have direct access for our patients that allows us to see our patients directly without requiring a referral from a physician. There are exceptions with certain insurances and Medicare which do require a Physician referral. Feel free to give us a call for your specific case if you are unaware.

What will my first appointment look like?

Your first appointment is an evaluation with one of our licensed Physical Therapists. Our PT's want to spend close to an hour to make sure to get to the root cause of your symptoms, hear your story, and get started with some treatment that same day.

What do I need to bring for my first appointment?

For your initial evaluation, make sure to arrive 10 minutes early to fill out our intake forms so that you can spend the most time with your PT so that you can allow enough time for your PT to hear your story, examine, and start treatment with you. Make sure to wear clothing that allows access to the area that you are seeking care for. Also, remember to bring your insurance information, ID.
